Dennis Severs House

In the shadow of a tall, glass fronted office building in Spitalfields sits a period terraced house that has been turned into a living museum: a recreation in sights, smells and sounds of what life would have been like for a resident family of Huguenot silk-weavers in the 18th century. I was priveleged to shoot two notable rooms in the museum. Meticulous care has gone into making the rooms feel authentic. If the 18th century owner of the house had walked in on me while I was shooting, I wouldn't have been surprised!
